Hilton Vancouver Washington & Vancouver Convention Center - opened June 15th offering 226 guest rooms and an attached Convention Center with 30,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. The facility is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver and is part of the City of Vancouver's overall downtown revitalization plan. The Hilton Vancouver Washington is scheduled to receive a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating in 2006, which will make it the first green Hilton hotel and only the second LEED-certified hotel in the United States. |

1. Blue Star

$15 per person one way from airport to hotel.
They leave every half hour from 8 am to midnight.
You can make prepaid reservation by phone if you wish.
To find them at the airport:
Exit from Baggage claim. Walk straight out across 2 lanes of traffic to 2nd concrete island.
Turn left, at end is a yellow sign saying WA State Shuttle.
2. Green Cab & Green Shuttle
OUR DEAL IS THIS:
Our special rate is $25 for 1 to 6 people and luggage in a shuttle, one way. (If you have a ton of luggage so that 6 don't fit, then 4 or 5 will have to share the $25.)
Arrivals: Just make sure you give the name (Subud) and the rate to the drivers of the waiting shuttle. You probably won't need to contact the dispatcher. If you don't find a shuttle already at the airport, you can call toll free 1-877-853-3577 to ask the Dispatcher at that number for the arrival time of the next shuttle, or to see if one of their cabs will accept our special rate.
They are available 24/7. If you arrive late at night and there's no shuttle waiting, call Dispatch at 1- 877-853-3577
(There will almost always be a "cab" available if there's no shuttle there at the moment -- but they must be willing to accept the agreed-upon rate. Calling via phone ensures that dispatcher tells driver the correct rate, and dispatched calls are recorded on dispatch logs.)

TO ALL LEAVING THE CONGRESS VIA THE PORTLAND AIRPORT:
Information about your departure time: You want to leave the Hilton 2 1/2 hours before your actual flight time.
We can collectively make effort to organize ourselves to share shuttles as we depart for the airport, so we enjoy the chance to share that $25 cost for the trip!
We will have signup sheets in the Registration Area. Please provide your name, departure airline and flight number. The sooner we have the information the better. You are responsible for getting yourself to the airport on time!

Take the City Center exit (#1C). Turn right onto Mill Plain Blvd. (becomes 15th street). Turn left onto Columbia street. Hotel is on the corner of 6th and Columbia. Traveling North on Interstate 5: Take Interstate 5 through Portland and over the Interstate Bridge into Washington. Take the second exit (#1B) after the bridge, following the City Center signs. Turn left, following the signs to 6th Street. Hotel is on the corner of 6th and Columbia. From Portland International Airport: Leaving the airport, follow the signs to Interstate 205 North. Get on I-205 North, and go over the Glen Jackson bridge into Washington. Take the first exit onto Highway 14 West, towards Vancouver. Stay on Hwy. 14 for approx. 7 miles. Follow the signs into City Center (center lane). Turn left, following the signs to 6th Street. Hotel is on the corner of 6th and Columbia. |
